I am a man, a believer in Jesus Christ, a philosopher and someone who is struggleing to make sense of life in the 21st century.
A native 'Cardinal,' I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. I moved to Southern California for school and have lived here since, 15 years and counting. I blog daily from my perch overlooking the back-bay in Newport Beach, CA.
With my undergrad degree in Computer Science, I worked as a computer networking consultant for 7 years until I quit to go back to school for my Master's in Philosophy of Religion & Ethics. After I graduated, I began blogging as a way to bring my education to bear on issues in the public sphere. My posts focus on current events, local and national politics, religion and the intersection of sports and culture.
Philosophy, politics, my love for Jesus, my Jetta, long-board surfing, running, snowboarding, reading the classics (Dostoevsky, Tolstoy, James, Dickens, ect), computers and networking.
