11:15 - Major fire in Galvaston Texas. The blaze is expansive but with the offshore winds, the winds are being blown offshore and away from the rest of the city buildings.

11:18 - Lake Charles is mostly without power

11:25 - The large fire in Galvaston is burning 2 Historic buildings and 1 business.

11:35 - Landfall is being predicted within the hour.

11:40 - Alan at Petrified Truth reports on a shelter in Katy, TX for those fleeing the storm.

12:10 - Hurricane eye as of last report is 40 miles from coast of Louisiana/Texas.

12:15 - CNN's Anderson Cooper is being bandied about...
